Everything you always wanted to know about TRE®
TRE® begins with six simple warm-up exercises, similar to basic stretches.
These are followed by the tremoring process, a natural, physiological response of the body.
Every person's experience is different. The body responds in its own way, depending on what it is ready to release at that time.
To give you a sense of what this can look like, you'll find a short demonstration below.

TRE® is practised worldwide and supported by a growing body of experience from certified TRE® Providers and their clients, including approximately 200 Providers in the UK.
In addition, a number of academic studies (https://treglobal.org/research/)explore its effects and outcomes.
If you'd like to understand more about the science behind TRE®, Dr. David Berceli, the creator of this method, explains the rationale in more detail here:

TRE® works directly with the body, rather than focusing on thoughts, analysis or managing/masking symptoms.
And it is not something done to you, it's an innate skill you re-learn to access for yourself.
Your body already knows and practising TRE® activates this natural reflex that allows the body to release tension in its own way and at its own pace.
These involuntary, natural tremors allow the body to release and gradually shift the nervous system from a state of alertness into regulation.
There is no need to revisit past experiences, the process is guided by what your body is ready to let go of in the present moment.

TRE® is a body based practice that can support your health and well-being.
It is a somatic modality, meaning it works through the body rather than through talking or analysing past experiences.
Some people choose to combine TRE® with talking therapies, particularly if they feel stuck or overwhelmed.
As with any approach, it's important to find what feels right for you.
If you are unsure, you are welcome to get in touch (https://www.tremendoustre.co.uk/contact)with any questions.

TRE® is not therapy.
It is a self-led practice that empowers you to take control of your health and well-being.
The process is somatic, meaning it works through the body rather than through talking or analysing past experiences.
Some people choose to combine TRE® with talking therapies, particularly if they feel stuck or overwhelmed, others have already tried talking and want to bring the body into the equation and some choose to focus solely on their body.
As with any approach, it’s important to find what feels right for you.

I hear that a lot as many people I work with feel the same and usually discover TRE® after they've tried everything else.
As TRE® is an innate process, it takes a slightly different approach by working directly with the body’s natural release mechanism, rather than focusing on managing symptoms.
For some, this offers a new way in, especially when other approaches haven’t fully shifted things.
If you'd like to discuss how this might relate to your experiences, you’re very welcome to get in touch.(https://calendly.com/tremendous-tre/15min)
