Do I do everything I teach?

Hand on heart:

Yes, most of the time.

And that's the truth.

I love TRE and practise most days, at least every other day.

Because I notice a big difference.

Most of all in my lower back – that's the back pain that I got rid of when I started my TRE journey.

And I feel I'm definitely calmer, whatever life throws at me.

Recently I was away for a few weeks. I don't call it a holiday as I was 'just' visiting family in France and Germany and my days were packed with activities, meeting friends and having fun with my fabulous niece, who's eleven, and charming nephew, who's eight – they love Tata Tilli (that's my nickname; has been since my teenage years).

Anyway, life was busy and I was enjoying myself.

And although a TRE practice only takes a few minutes, I didn't make the effort.

It was OK in the first week, but then I noticed my back again.

And when I was at my mum's, old family dynamics (mother-daughter – I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about ;-)) kicked in and I wasn't as calm and composed as I know I could have been.

My sleep wasn't as good, either.

Now I'm home again and I have my 'normal' routine.

My yoga mat is on the floor and I simply get down on it and do a quick shake when I feel I want a break from my desk, when I feel tension in my lower back after a tennis session or if I want to wind down before going to bed.

It feels soooooooo good.

The tension leaves my lower back and the downregulation of my nervous system makes me feel like I had a mini spa break.

Get in touch if you'd like to find out what TRE could do for you!

You deserve to feel so much better.

Natural. Innate. TREmendous.
