What if burnout prevention started with a wee shake?

I recently came across this quote and thought, well, that's so true.

"Winners never quit. Winners also never get to go home early. I know a lot of winners. They all look exhausted."
James Bore
It also made me pause.
Because so many people I see display this 'winner' energy, constantly pushing, rarely resting, quietly burning out and many are wearing this like a badge of honour.
“I felt overwhelmed.
After learning TRE,
I finally felt calm in my body,
something I hadn’t experienced in years.
It’s like pressing the reset button.”
David
By the way, this is a quote to announce a new comedy show and I thought to myself, great, maybe when James holds up the mirror, his audience might realise how exhausted they really are.
Often it needs humour or stories to convey a message really well.
I see and talk to many people who work too much, too hard and far too many hours – while neglecting their own health and well-being.
And not 'just' that, also possibly their relationships, their sleep, their joy.
I often recognise that quiet exhaustion, because I am aware that burnouts don't appear out of the blue.
I' m also very aware that we are all on different journeys, some are more aware than others, some are happy-ish with the status quo, some want to air their worries and then go back to their usual habits.
“TRE gave me something
I can use anytime, anywhere.
I feel more balanced and less reactive.
It’s true self-care, not just another quick fix.”
Tina
All fine with me, I also had times where I worked too much, neglected my health and well-being and thought this was all normal – “at least I'm having fun” is what I told myself.
And I was about 30 years younger – maybe this attitude is or was (?) a part of growing-up and cementing one's career.
Maybe.
Maybe not.
Now I know, though, that health and well-being is key.
For everything.
I see now that even then, my body was already whispering (back pain, teeth grinding) what I didn’t want to hear (slow down and look after yourself!).
And I also hear that from my clients – who tend to find me and TRE only after they've tried so many different modalities.
“I thought exhaustion was just part of life.
After TRE, I realised I’d been running on survival mode.
Now I know how to release stress before it builds up.”
Mark
Well, that's something I did as well, yoga, breathing, mindfulness, NHS back pain exercises ...
Hence I want to share what I’ve discovered and hopefully it'll provide a shortcut for you.
As I want you to discover that much sooner, because so many people only find TRE once everything else has fallen short.
What still amazes me is how much wisdom the body already holds and how it can 'simply' lead us back to balance.
And there are so many more and very important things I'd like to share:
The importance of a well-regulated nervous system
How many symptoms, in fact, the majority of symptoms, are based on too much stress and tension we are holding on to
That we've all experienced trauma to some degree (I used to dismiss this, now I know better)
How everything we need is already within us – this is truly amazing, really
How our bodies are so much cleverer than we give them credit for
How much more empowering it is to learn such a TREmendous tool like TRE, instead of being treated and outsourcing responsibility
If any of these insights - and there are many more - speak to you or spark some curiosity, I'd love to hear your thoughts and I'm here for you and have reserved some time for fact-finding chats.
As you are reading this, you might be thinking of taking ownership of your health and well-being.
Then I invite you to get in touch with me and we can explore together if TRE can meet your expectations. You might find it re-assuring to know that I will never, ever talk anybody into learning TRE as this simply doesn't work. Not for me, not for my client, either.
But for all of you who feel a readiness to take ownership of your health and well-being and if you believe you have the resources (yes, you really do) to help and support yourself, I'm here to guide you.
That's what TRE is all about – guiding you to learn how to support yourself.
TRE isn't something I do to you – it's something you discover through yourself.
And you'll learn a tool that you can use forever.
That's what I call real health empowerment.
Natural. Innate. TREmendous.
