Whom is TRE for?

A colleague of mine states that TRE is for everybody whose heart is beating.

And while this is absolutely true, because almost everybody can potentially benefit from TRE – even if it's 'just' for the deep relaxation and the post-spa treatment feeling, right?

What's not to like?

Well, my approach is a little bit more restrictive as I put the USP (Unique Selling Point) of TRE on health empowerment.

Having said that … while I'm typing out USP, I also want to stress that:

I'm definitely NOT here to sell TRE to anybody.

My job is to share what TRE can do for you – and then it's for you to decide if that resonates with you, if you'd like to look into it in more detail and if you'd like to learn it.

So TRE is for people who want to take their health and well-being into their own hands, rather than relying on somebody or something 'to sort them out'.

And yes, I've worked with many clients whose health gadgets and apps were gathering dust after the novelty wore off – and after experiencing TRE they realised they have everything they need already within themselves.

TRE is a great preventative tool,

it can help if you already have symptoms (headaches, back pain, teeth grinding, digestive issues, anxiety ...) and it can help you to build up resilience so that you can encounter future scenarios with more calm and peace.

So, while I don't see myself as a salesperson, I want everybody to at least know that TRE exists – sadly it's still very niche – and, most importantly, how TREmendously amazing our bodies are.

Yes, they are, as it's not 'just' our minds that are so clever.

So, just a wee re-cap, what does TRE do?

It releases tension we are holding in the body.

And as soon as the tension is gone, magic can happen – please note, this is NOT a promise, I'm sharing experiences here:

When we relax the muscles – we calm the nervous system.

Many of us have nervous systems that are constantly on high alert, looking for danger, being on edge.

I'm always so humbled when these clients feed back that they feel less irritable, much calmer, sleep better etc. - again, these are NOT promises, but some client experiences.

  • Many of my clients are menopausal women who feel that their kids can't push their buttons anymore as they generally feel more calm, relaxed and at ease

  • One of the most mentioned feedback is: “I had the best good night's sleep ever”

  • I've worked with a client who had received their ADHD diagnosis and shared after their first session: “Wow, my head feels so empty, like it has never felt before

  • I also remember a client who shared with me how she stopped herself in the middle of the night from worrying about a situation

There are many more examples – and I'd love everybody to experience how TRE can make them feel.

As I always say, TRE is not for everybody – nothing is!

I want everybody to know that TRE could be an option.

That's why I also offer TRE Exploration Sessions – just a one-off session.

In this session you'll learn TRE safely and can then go and practise on your own.

That's how I started, then I practised a bit and it fizzled out.

I lost seven years – and because I had this experience, I generally teach TRE over four sessions.

To explain briefly:

The first session is the same as before, and while some clients only tremor a minute or even less in the first session, sessions two and three are then to build-up tremoring confidence.

After a break of four weeks – new habits need roughly a month to form – we'll meet again and I will assess your practice and can help with interventions so that you'll get the most of the tremoring process.

If either the 'dip-your-toe-in' or the 'learn TRE properly' version resonate with you, let's have a chat as all good things start with a conversation.

And before I finish – here are some more examples of symptoms which could potentially benefit from TRE:

  • Tension headaches/migraines

  • Teeth grinding

  • Neck/shoulder/back pain

  • Digestive issues, nervous tummy

  • Sports injuries

  • Anxiety, worries

  • (Menopausal) irritability

  • Anger

  • Burnout – most importantly burnout prevention

  • Sleep issues

  • PTSD/secondary PTSD

  • And so much more ...

Your body already knows how to release stress.

TRE gently reminds it how.
