Setting an example ...

Today, I’m setting an example … and if it inspires you, consider this your permission (in case you need or want it, that is) to do the same.

The last couple of weeks have been full-on, and I simply haven't taken the time to draft a new blog post.
Instead, I did exactly what I always preach and recommend to others:
I put myself first.
Of course, thoughts like these came up:
But I’ve always managed to write the post on time
I enjoy creating these; I could just stay at my computer a wee bit longer
But then there were the other ones, too:
The world won't come to an end
My readers will understand; they might not even notice how often I write
So what did I do?
I quietened the noise and prioritised myself – and my existing clients.
I saw the clients I had already booked in
I practised plenty of TRE myself
I played tennis which always makes me happy
I practised the flute every (!) day, also great for my happiness levels, not sure about my neighbours, though
Hence, no new article this time.
But I’d love to guide you towards some previous posts that might meet you exactly where you are today.
Depending on what you’d like TRE to support you with, you might want to explore any of the following:
If you are struggling with chronic pain and are tired of painkillers, treatments or – even worse – feeling dismissed by your doctor.
If you are currently struggling with life in general or with anxiety, (menopausal) irritability, grief or anger in particular.
Following on – and as an explanation why TRE can help with the above, you might like to watch a short clip on why a well-regulated nervous system is key.
If you - like many of my clients - have already tried 'everything' and are still looking for something that finally has real potential to help.
If you are a carer or parent and think you don't have time for self-care (also applies to the highly stressed business executive who is close to burnout).
If you find the idea of 'shaking it off' bizarre or a bit unusual and want to understand why it's the most natural reaction to stress and why you should never stop someone shaking after a stressful incident.
If you are still wondering whether TRE is for you.
And finally … if you like the idea of TRE, but think it's too expensive.
So, I've done it, I have honoured my own well-being and still offered you something to explore, reflect on or revisit.
Perhaps it’s a reminder of why you’re interested in TRE in the first place.
Most importantly, I hope this encourages you to also give yourself permission to do the same: To pause, to prioritise yourself, to choose what nourishes you.
So, I’m now heading to my yoga mat to shake off the tension I’m noticing after a very joyful morning of tennis in the sunshine.
And I'm here for you if you'd like to find out how TRE can support your health and well-being.
Simply send me a message or book a fact-finding chat (please be assured, this is NOT a sales call!).
Natural. Innate. TREmendous.
